Translit Keyboard lets you use your normal English QWERTY keyboard to type letters in another alphabet — a technique known as "transliteration". For example, with the Russian keyboard, you can type a word like "ponchik" and see it transform into "пончик" right as you type. You don't have to wait or press any buttons: just type it out like it sounds! And since Translit Keyboard is a third party keyboard, you can use it in almost any app.
If you write in multiple languages but type fastest on an English keyboard, or if you're learning a foreign language and want to avoid studying an entirely new keyboard layout, this app will be perfect for you.
Included keyboards: Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, Belarusian, Georgian, Greek, and Macedonian.
If you would rather use the standard phonetic layout for your Russian typing, give the Russian Phonetic Keyboard a go: http://itunes.apple.com/app/id937350067
