Petteia is an ancient Greek board game. The objective of the game is to capture or immobilize opponent's pieces. Pieces move orthogonally as rooks in chess and cannot skip over other pieces. Piece (one or more) is captured and taken away from the board when it is besieged on two orthogonal sides. Piece in the corner can be captured by two opponent's pieces placed across the corner. A piece can be played between two enemy pieces without being captured.
