It makes skin look naturally translucent while retaining image texture, creating a strong cinematic feel. Many YouTubers and filmmakers often use this filter to create a warm and soft atmosphere.

However, after searching the App Store extensively, I couldn't find a camera app that could display this effect *during* the shooting process. Most Black Mist filter apps on the market apply the effect post-capture, preventing you from seeing the atmospheric shift in real-time, which felt unnatural and less authentic to me.

So, I decided to build it myself. After considerable technical and design refinement, MistLens was born – one of the very few mobile camera apps currently supporting real-time Black Mist filter rendering.
