★★ Chosen by Apple as New & Noteworthy in Weather ★★
With WeatherTable, display a visual overview of the next 14 days of weather, hour-by-hour. And with a built-in almanac, you can see predictive temperatures and conditions for almost any location, any time of the year.
— 14-Day Visual Hourly Weather Reports —
Weather conditions are a moving target, constantly changing throughout the course of the day. Should you wear a jacket this morning? What will be the hottest part of the day? What time is it supposed to rain? WeatherTable's unique visual forecast makes answering these questions easy. With just a glance, track hourly temperatures and precipitation — up to 14 days in the future.
— Estimated Conditions for Any Time of Year —
And while 14-day forecasts are great, life goes beyond the next two weeks. By culling and analyzing large historical weather data sets, WeatherTable calculates weather averages in most locations for the entire year. Should you vacation in Hawaii in April? Is September is the right time to get married outdoors in Seattle? When does the summer heat in New York usually end? Like an almanac in your pocket, WeatherTable has an answer.
— Better Design, Better Weather —
From the start, we set out to create a considered human interface design optimized for legibility and speed. WeatherTable enables you to pick a city, view the weekly forecast, and drill down to hourly conditions in seconds flat. A simple color palette subtly reinforces current conditions. Our beautifully illustrated custom icons were optimized for clarity.
Moreover, we didn’t fill WeatherTable with ads, upsells, videos, social buttons, or photorealistic animations of rain falling on a window pane. It’s simply the weather data you need to plan your life, presented quickly and succinctly.
Voilà, the first update. Feast upon the following improvements:
– Smaller binary size, so we can pass the faster download time savings on to you.
– Added a 24-hour time scale on the day chart for our international friends. Just tap on the time scale at the bottom of the chart to toggle.
– Day charts now have dynamic scales. No more disappearing temperatures.
– New typeface for better international diacritical mark support. Cambodia and Serbia, we’re looking at you.
– Updates to WeatherTron 5000, our sophisticated weather back-end. It’s really rather technical, just know that there’s a robot in the cloud working really hard to bring you the best weather data possible.
