Visual weather for Pilots. Written by an EMS Pilot. Provides a map centered upon your location with the airports marked on the map. The weather for each of the reporting airports is displayed in colors red, yellow and green indicating the color category of the weather for that airport. The colors are based upon user defined weather settings for ceiling and visibility. Also provides color coded Metars. The user settings provide the ability to customize application to your operating environment/constraints.
Added ability to configure ceiling category for night flight. You can now choose to use SCT or BKN as the ceiling category for nights. This choice allows a more conservative view of the weather at night by allowing the ceiling to be categorized by scattered cloud layer. Also the application will make an airport report as RED if the visibility is not included in the METAR. This occasionally shows up when when the cloud cover is reported as CLR or SKC.
