You can download online videos and create ringtones with them.

Currently, the max length of a ringtone supported by iPhone is 40 seconds long.
3. Support play-a-whole-song mode
Most ringtone apps plays a part of a song which lasts only 40 seconds or less. Therefore, you need to be bothered to tab buttons many times or scrub sliders repeatedly to listen to just one song from its beginning to the end. Now you can listen to a whole song to find your favorite part which you want to convert to a ringtone without required and annoying operations. Just listen to a song, turn on Repeat button when you meet the part you like, and tab Save button. Don’t forget that only Ringtone Star provides this function so far.

You can record audio up to any length and as many as you want. Recorded sounds are stored in Ringtone Star, and you can choose one of them in the music library picker and convert it to a ringtone. Don’t be bothered to record for exact length of time like 40 seconds. You can listen to recorded audio and decide which part of it is good for a ringtone later.

8. High-speed ~ Fine scrubbing
Ringtone Star supports fine scrubbing capabilities like iPod player. To move the slider, drag your finger down first and drag left or right. The speed of the slider decreases to half speed, quarter speed, or fine scrubbing.

I guess you want to listen a ringtone right after its creation and delete it if you don’t like it. Be careful, many ringtone apps don’t have such features.
