Bookvario - a colourful educational application for iPhone and iPad, developed for small children only starting to learn the alphabet. Effectively Bookvario is an electronic alphabet application.
Transitions from one card to another are animated: this is a card flip or page turn effect. The transitions are also audible (can be easily switched off in the application's settings). Every letter's appearance on the screen is audible too - Bookvario pronounces the letter and the name of the corresponding animal on the picture. This can be replayed for better learning experience. Bookvario's user interface allows to create your own versions of soundtracks for the letter cards - you can record your own voice for any letter you want. For your kids to remember the letters more efficiently - just switch the audible pronunciations off or shuffle the letter cards.
The application has a nice and easy navigation: a menu with buttons is in the bottom of the screen. There's a dedicated "baby mode" for those youngest users who, due to their minor age wouldn't be able to use the menu otherwise. In this mode all the control elements on the bottom panel are hidden, substituted with a small button in the very top corner of the screen. This is for the adult user to use it to return to the main menu.
Bookvario has plenty of settings allowing you to adjust and tweak the application to perfectly suit the needs of your children; because we believe every child is unique with his or her preferences and tastes already in the very young age. You can feel free to experiment with the settings as you can always restore the defaults with a single click of the button.
