تأسست جمعية عمر ابن الخطاب في عام 2004 علي يد مجموعة من المسلمين الذين أتوا الي هولندا من بلاد مختلفة وكان الهدف الأساسي من تأسيسها هو العمل علي بناء مسجد يتم من خلاله الدعوة الي دين الاسلام وخدمة ورعاية مصالح المسلمين في مدينة ألميرا ونواحيها.

A Multilingual translation program of the Qur'an produced bij Association Omar ibn al Khattab in cooperation with iPhoneIslam.
Association Omar ibn al Khattab was founded in 2004 by a group of Muslims which came from
different country's and established themselves in Holland.
The main purpose of the Association is the realization of a Mosque wherein we can spread
da'wah. Another purpose of the Association is ensuring that the Muslims in and around Almere get the right information and guidance regarding Islaam.

Mehrsprachiges übersetzunggsprogramm für den heiligen Koran.Produziert von vereinigung Omar Ibnoe Al Khattab in zusammenarbeit mit iPhoneIslam.
Vereinigung Omar Ibnoe Al Khattab wurde in 2004 errichtet,durch eine gruppe muslims,die aus verschiedenen ländern sind gekommen um es zich in Niederland wohnhaft zu machen.
Das wichtigste ziel ist es um eine Moschee zu errichten woaus an ''daoua'' (ausbreiten des Islams) werd gearbeitet.
Ein anderes Ziel ist es zu zorgen an (religiose) aufklärung von muslims die in Almere und umgebung wohnen.

Meertalig vertaalprogramma voor de heilige Quran geproduceerd door
Verening Omar Ibn Al Khattab in samenwerking met iPhoneIslam.
Verening Omar Ibn Al khattab werd opgericht in 2004 door een groep moslims die vanuit verschillende landen zich kwamen vestigen in Nederland.
Voornaamste doel van de vereniging is het realiseren van een moskee project waarin aan de " da'wa" (verspreiding van de Islam) wordt gewerkt. Een andere doelstelling van de vereniging Omar Ibn Al Khattab is zorgen voor (religieuze) voorlichting en begeleiding van moslims die woonachtig zijn in Almere en omgeving.
