Why its for you:
If you just want to listen to some music without spending ages digging through your music library, creating another on the go playlist by choosing song after song (yeah, you know what it's like), InstanTunes is for you. Paired with InstanTunes' new gestures to control music playback, makes it the perfect DJ while driving.
What it does:
As soon as you tap on IntstanTunes' icon in your homescreen when it isn't running, it will create and play an amazing music queue from your music library. Once the queue is created, you can quit the app and listen to your awesome queue from anywhere. A queue is very similar to a playlist except it doesn't appear as yet another on-the-go playlist in your playlist list.
Customise:
In the setting tab, you can choose the source of the music, choose to filter it (or not). The filters are: None, SmartMix, Underplayed, Custom. You can also choose to shuffle the queue in a completely random order and choose whether or not to automatically create queue when the app is launched. In the queue tab, you can add songs by searching or browsing, delete or reorder upcoming songs and finally shuffle the queue.
SmartMix:
If you want to listen to something different each time you launch InstanTunes, there's a cool feature called SmartMix. When SmartMix is chosen in the filter section, SmartMix will gather metadata from your music library such as rating, play count and skip count and then create a music queue that you will adore.
Underplayed:
If you choose Underplayed as the filtering option, InstanTunes will get metadata and only play songs which InstanTunes believes are underplayed.
Works seamlessly:
InstanTunes works in sync with the built in iPod or Music app so you can control the currently playing item from the iPod or music app and from any app by double tapping on the home button. InstanTunes has a built in music controller which allows you to pause, play, scrub, fast forward, rewind, jump back, skip and change the volume of the currently playing song.
Gestures:
Effortlessly control music playback and volume by tapping and swiping which makes InstanTunes ideal for when you are busy driving.
