Snaps automatically takes photos while you're off doing other things. Just prop your phone up, aim it at the action, and let the camera fire away. The pictures are saved to your photo album as they are taken.
Why Use It
Snaps is useful in many situations:
✓ To capture spontaneous scenes at parties and social gatherings
✓ As a "self-timer" like that found on many cameras
✓ To shoot sensitive, skittish or difficult subjects, such as wildlife, without being present
✓ Anything else you can think of!
How It Works
Snaps can shoot with or without MOTION DETECTION. With motion detection on, photos are only taken when there is movement in front of the camera - useful in situations with long wait times before an opportune moment comes along.
With motion detection off, Snaps shoots at constant interval of your choosing - as fast as every five seconds or as slow as once per hour.
Some Technical Notes
Snaps shoots at the HIGHEST CAMERA RESOLUTION, except when snapping every 10 seconds or 5 seconds, when resolution is lowered to 50% or 25% of that, respectively.
Tips
Set a maximum number of shots to take so Snaps doesn't fill up your photo album.
Tap the preview of the last shot taken (on the lower left) to see all the shots in your camera roll.
