To get the emoji keyboard, do the following:
Purchase MailExpress and launch it on your device (No internet connection is required to enable emoji when you launch the app).
Close MailExpress and go to "Settings > General > Keyboard > International Keyboards > Japanese" and turn ON the "Emoji" setting. Now the emoji keyboard will be enabled for your device.
To use the emoji keyboard, simply tap on the globe/world key to bring up the emoji keyboard.
Note: If you only want emoji functionality, you can safely delete MailExpress after enabling them and the emoji will remain enabled on your device.
Once the emoji keyboard is enabled, you can use the other core functionality that is provided by MailExpress. Outside of adding emoji support, MailExpress allows you to type your email using a landscape keyboard. The application also automatically saves drafts in case you get interrupted. Basically, this application makes it super easy and fast to type text using either a portrait or landscape (wide) keyboard, and save your draft emails.
In the draft view, you can quickly access your saved email drafts. As you type in the compose view, your emails are saved automatically and you can access them in this draft view.
In the compose view, you can quickly type your emails using either a portrait or landscape (wide) keyboard. Compose view also allows you to hide the email header so that you can have more room on the screen to type the body text of your email.

1. To reply (or forward) to emails in Mail, first select message
2. Choose reply (or forward) from within Mail
3. Quit Mail by pressing the Home key
4. Open MailExpress and write your email in the Compose view with an empty subject line. When you tap "Send", your email message will be inserted into the reply (or forward) email, ready to send!
