Import your friends' birthdays from Facebook or add their birthdays individually. You can then see a countdown to each person's birthday so you'll never miss another birthday again.

** Speed Dial **
Shake your phone to bring up speed dial. Once you set a picture and phone number, just tap on the picture to dial.

So changes to the My Contacts contact list will not appear in the Apple Contacts/Phone applications or any other applications that use its contact list.
