Version 2.1. This is a simple Fixed-Rate Mortgage Calculator with a monthly overpay input. Key in the loan amount, the interest rate,and the loan term. Calculate the monthly payment, the total interest you will pay on the loan and the cost of the loan. Optionally, you can specify extra monthly payments. You can then calculate the savings from paying less interest. Additionally you get the shortened term of the loan and the payoff amount. The last calculated loan can be emailed. An amortization table breaks down the payment schedule on a separate screen. Loan calculations are saved. The calculator initializes with the last saved loan. Reset clears all input values and reload populates the input fields with the values from the last calculation.
