Description

Use your phone's gyroscope to measure pipeline bends or deflections, in any orientation. With calibration, the accuracy is within 1 degree. The calculated bend angle will also be displayed in it's horizontal and vertical components.

You can use this app in either GyroMode or CalculatorMode.

In GyroMode, the compound bend (or combined bend) is measured as you move your phone.

In CalculatorMode, start with the horizontal and vertical components (heading or bearing and incline or slope), and PipeJoint calculates the compound angle.

If you ever need to check an as-constructed pipeline deflection, check a pipe bend, calculate a compound bend from plans, or you need to measure a composite angle on site, this is the digital angle measuring tool you want.
